What Is Sit & SewTwo hours of fellowship and sewing fun!
Sit & Sew is not a formal class. You can bring projects for which you need help or just come and enjoy fellowship as you work. Diana Beran, a member of SAGA (Smocking Arts Guild of America), is the leader of Sit & Sew. Her knowledge and experience has proved quite valuable in helping participants not only with smocking but with construction of garments as well. You are welcome to bring handwork or bring a machine.
Notice of each meeting is emailed to those on our contact list about a week in advance. There is no charge for the group but we do ask that if you plan to come you let us know so that we may prepare the space. If your schedule does not allow you to be with us for the entire two hours, we welcome you to participate however your time allows.
As always, if you have questions, be sure to call the shop. (804) 285-3355.
